EMPLOYMENT REQUIREMENTS

COMMODITY MARKETING ADVISOR

  • Position requires a Series 3 and 30 Licenses
  • Ability to maintain driver’s license
  • Ability to pass a background check and drug screening

 

ROLE DESCRIPTION

  • Advisor will deliver comprehensive grain market services to our clients on farm a minimum of four times per year or on an as-needed basis. Advisor will help customers market their grain through the execution of core product deliverables such as market reports and risk management as well as farm cash flows and margin analysis.
  • Advisor will sell grain marketing services to prospects in order to achieve revenue budgets and growth targets.
  • The position will require employee to work and communicate effectively with coworkers.
  • The Advisor will provide secondary support for market updates, contract execution and individual client strategies.
  • Advisor will be expected to maintain all records according to compliance standards for a Branch Office.
  • This is a sales role and are expected to prospect, grow and maintain a book of business.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

    • Related Post-secondary education or training
    • Possess or able to obtain Series 3/30 Licenses
    • Knowledge of grain marketing and risk management
    • Good understanding of grain futures, options and markets in general.
  • Excellent knowledge of production agriculture and farm management
  • Consulting experience.
  • Excellent comprehension of OTC products.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

    • Must be willing to under a background check.
    • Must be authorized to work in the United States.
    • Have a valid driver’s license.
    • Willing to take a drug test, in accordance with local laws/regulations.
    • Completed the following level of education: Bachelor’s Degree
